Forest Preserve District Seeks New Executive Director
The Forest Preserve District of DuPage County announced a nationwide search for a new executive director to lead the operation and growth of the agency’s properties, offices and programs.
The executive director will be responsible for ensuring the development and implementation of long-term plans for the District, including the development of new and existing preserves, natural areas, recreational features and educational centers.
Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 10 years of leadership experience for a public or nonprofit agency, understand federal and state laws, have a strong background in financial management and be able to build productive relationships with District employees, commissioners and citizens.
