Help Us Help Wildlife

Support Wildlife in DuPage

The Forest Preserve District is working to restore wild lands and safeguard native wildlife in DuPage County. DuPage forest preserves are home to hundreds of wildlife species, some threatened and even endangered that are disappearing at startling rates due to development, habitat fragmentation and competitive nonnative species. That's why it's so important to provide care and rehabilitation for those that are injured, sick or orphaned — or even just passing through — to be returned to the wild.

Our Willowbrook Wildlife Center provides medical treatment and rehabilitation for more than 9,000 native and migrant animals each year. These animals are admitted to the center by caring residents who know the center will be there to help every day.

Willowbrook Widlife Center doesn't receive state or federal money. We do all we do with support from Forest Preserve District tax dollars and people like you who care about wildlife.

Join thousands of wildlife lovers to advance the care of native, threatened and endangered animals. Make your tax-deductible gift today!

A gift to the Friends of the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County is tax-deductible under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
