Dynamo PrimeStick Walking Stick
The 3-in-1 design functions as a cane, walking stick, or trekking pole for ultimate versatility. It allows for support on one or both sides with an adjustable height ranging from 34" to 57", a soft grip handle with supportive wrist strap, and a wide, articulating foot for added traction. It supports up to 154 pounds and is great for individuals who would like a little extra support while enjoying their time in the preserves.
Movement
If you’re using just one cane, use it on the opposite side that needs support. For instance, if your left leg needs support, use the cane in your right hand. The cane is to assist with motion and balance and is not intended to support your full weight. You should adjust the poles to support so your elbows are at a 90-degree angle when you’re standing.
How to Use the Straps
The straps are intended to provide support. Slip your hand through the strap from underneath the loop, and then grab the handle. Your hand and wrist should be supported by the strap as you put downward pressure on the cane while walking. To tighten or loosen the strap, pull down the lower strap to pull the plastic block from handle. Adjust strap length, and then push the plastic block back in the handle. Tighten to ensure strap is secure.
Adjusting the Height
To adjust the height, hold the cane with two hands, one on each side of the green pole extension. You can hold the pole facing either direction.
To loosen, twist firmly in opposite directions, rotating your left hand forward and rotating your right hand backward until you feel the pole loosen. Extend the pole to desired length, and then tighten.
To tighten, twist firmly in opposite directions, rotating your left hand backward and your right hand forward until you feel pole tighten securely.
Do not overtighten. This can break the pole.
Each pole must be securely tightened to prevent the pole from collapsing under weight. Gradually apply pressure to test the hold before relying on it for support.
