Waterfall Glen Bridge Replacement

In spring of 2022, an ice dam event destroyed an existing bridge over Sawmill Creek along the preserve's Main Trail between mile markers 5.5 and 6.0.

A temporary bridge was installed to keep the trail open while a more permanent bridge was designed.

The new bridge will be a 65 feet long by 14 feet wide with bicycle railing on both approaches.  It will be about 4 feet higher than the one that washed away.

The temporary bridge will be removed and stored for future use.
