Eliminating Invasive Plants at Fullersburg Woods

Forest Preserve District of DuPage County volunteer stewards Marlene Rosecrans and Laurie Hylen work to clear invasive vegetation at Fullersburg Woods Forest Preserve in Oak Brook. The two work to remove nonnative and weedy, undesirable plants from small areas and sow seeds in other areas to improve the habitat's overall health.

Fullersburg Woods contains 226 acres of woodlands and prairies situated along Salt Creek.
