Dynamo Primestick 2 Cane

This “3-in-1 urban cane” is great for individuals who would like a little extra support while enjoying their time in the preserves.

With an adjustable height ranging from 34" to 57", it moves from cane height to trekking pole height, accommodating a variety of users. It allows for support on one or both sides and has a soft grip handle with a supportive wrist strap. Its wide, articulating foot offers added traction.  This cane has a weight capacity of 154 pounds.

Movement

If using one cane, use opposite side that needs support. Alternate your walking pattern to use the right hand with the left leg or the left hand with the right leg, so the cane can provide support to the needed side. Please note the cane is to assist with walking motion and balance. It is not intended to support your full weight. Poles should be adjusted to support your arms with your elbows at a 90-degree angle when standing.

How to Use the Straps

Strap is intended to be a support. Slip hand through strap from underneath the loop, then grab handle. Hand and wrist should be supported by strap as you put downward pressure on the cane while walking. Adjust strap to tighten or loosen by pulling lower strap to pull plastic block from handle. Adjust strap length, then push block back in and tighten to ensure strap is secure.

Adjusting the Height

To adjust the height, hold the cane with two hands, one on each side of the green pole extension. You can hold the pole facing either direction.

To loosen, twist firmly in opposite directions, rotating your left hand forward and rotating your right hand backward until you feel the pole loosen. Extend the pole to desired length, and then tighten.

To tighten, twist firmly in opposite directions, rotating your left hand backward and your right hand forward until you feel pole tighten securely.

Do not overtighten. This can break the pole.

Each pole must be securely tightened to prevent the pole from collapsing under weight. Gradually apply pressure to test the hold before relying on it for support.
