What is the Friends?
The Friends is the 501(c)(3) nonprofit fundraising arm of the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County. Guided by an independent volunteer board of directors and executive members, the foundation works to advance the District’s vision through philanthropic endeavors.
How does the Forest Preserve District benefit from the Friends’ efforts?
The Friends accepts financial and in-kind donations from individuals, corporations and groups (such as those featured below) that support the forest preserves and Forest Preserve District programs and events.
What is the Ambassadors Circle?
Donors who contribute $100 or more in one year automatically become part of this exclusive group, which receives special recognition, offers and updates as well as invitations to Ambassadors Circle-only programs, experiences and receptions.
