The Forest Preserve District is pleased to offer for loan two lightweight, all-terrain wheelchairs, each designed to traverse dirt, gravel, grass, snow, and mud.

Make and model: Extreme Motus, Emma X3
Size: Medium, 16.5-inch-wide seat; Carries up to 200 pounds

Location: Fullersburg Woods

Make and model: GRIT Freedom Chair 3.0
Size: For riders from 4’10” to 6’8”; 20-inch-wide seat; Carries up to 300 pounds
Weight: 46lbs
Location: St. James Farm

Reservations are limited to the preserves where the chairs are located and are subject to availability.

• Complete the online form below.
• Download a fillable reservation form in English (PDF) or Spanish (PDF), and bring the printed form to Forest Preserve District headquarters at 3S580 Naperville Road in Wheaton Monday – Friday 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
• Fax the completed form to 630-933-7217.
• Mail the completed form to Visitor Services, Forest Preserve District of DuPage County, 3S580 Naperville Road, Wheaton, IL 60189.
