Extreme Motus Wheelchair 
This all-terrain wheelchair is designed for power wheelchair users and those with limited ambulatory endurance who want to explore various terrain. This chair’s design allows someone to push the user easily over turf, roots, small rocks and branches, through puddles and creeks, while maintaining easy braking and steering capability. Available in Medium (16.5-inch seat width, supporting 80-150 pounds) and Large (18.5-inch width seat, supporting 150-250 pounds).  Unit weight: 49 pounds.

This all-terrain wheelchair is designed for manual wheelchair users who would like more mobility over rough terrain, such as turf and gravel trails, small rocks and branches, small inclines and declines, and other trails that may be impassable with standard wheelchair casters and tires. Independent lever bars allow users to gain greater torque while pushing to navigate obstacles. Chair is designed to be used outdoors and is not appropriate for navigating indoors or tight spaces. Seat has a 20-inch width. Frame supports up to 300 pounds.  Unit weight: 46 pounds.

Helavo Rollator 
This multi-terrain walker/rollator with oversized wheels more easily navigates varied surfaces. Designed for individuals who need extra support while walking the trails. 12-inch pneumatic tires with front shocks allow this rollator to be more easily pushed along varied surfaces, providing additional shock absorption for a smoother experience. Attached seat allows for an on-demand break at any time. Attached carrying bag and cup holder enables user to use both hands while keeping necessary items with them. Easily adjustable height for a range of users.  Unit weight: 18 pounds.

 Dynamo PrimeStick 2 Cane 

This “3-in-1 Urban Cane” allows for support on one or both sides, with adjustable height, a soft grip handle with supportive wrist strap, and a wide, articulating foot for added traction. Great for individuals who would like a little extra support while enjoying their time in the Preserves. Adjusts from cane height to trekking pole height for a range of users.  

EaZy Hold Adapted Grip Straps 
We have a variety of adapted gripping straps for small and medium sized objects. If you or one of your group members need assistance in holding or manipulating items that may be used during your group’s activities, these can help secure a person’s hand to an item so they do not have to worry about dropping the item and can focus on the task at hand rather than gripping of the object.

 Sensory Kit 
This bag includes a variety of tools for assisting with sensory needs. Adjustable, sound-dampening headphones, sunglasses, pop-its, stretch bands, clickers, spinners, and various sensory gadgets provide the user with numerous choices for sensory regulation. 

Articulating Arm with Attachments for Wheelchair 
This setup attaches directly to any wheelchair and can hold binoculars or a monocular (if needed for your group’s activities), picture cards (pictures of animals/plants being identified or places your group is going), or a geocaching unit (if geocaching is one of your group’s planned activities), and can support a number of other functions to allow for inclusion in the group’s activities.

Wheelchair Shade Umbrella 
Stay comfortable and safe from the sun while enjoying the outdoors with our hands-free shade umbrella, available for participants who are particularly sensitive or susceptible to sunlight exposure. The umbrella easily attaches to most wheelchairs and walkers, providing convenient sun protection so you can focus on exploring and enjoying your Preserve experience.  

Changing Table at Fullersburg Woods 
Set up to accommodate the need for changing of older youth to adult individuals. The setup includes a private room in The Nest building at Fullersburg Woods, a medical grade mattress on portable frame, and a safety bar. This room is located next to accessible, indoor, flush restrooms. Frame supports up to 300 pounds (max weight). 

Visual Schedule 
Visual schedules are a helpful way to understand the plan for your group’s activities, enhancing comfort and confidence. We can display an oversized schedule with graphics depicting each activity to help with understanding what the group is doing and when. 

 Social Stories

Social stories help participants know what to expect before their visit, making new experiences feel more familiar and comfortable. By using simple language and visuals to explain routines, environments, and expectations, they can reduce anxiety, build confidence, and support successful participation for individuals with a variety of disabilities and support needs.
