Projects & Habitat Restoration in Our Preserves

The Forest Preserve District's Planning department develops capital improvement projects involving new structures, recreational facilities, trails and amenities and water resource management in our DuPage forest preserves. Our Natural Resources department manages habitat restoration involving prairies, woodlands and wetlands. We often work with partners to restore waterways, monitor wildlife populations and manage wetlands.
