Support DuPage Forest Preserves on Giving Tuesday and Through 2022

Matching Opportunities Make Gifts to Friends Nonprofit Go Twice as Far

Support your DuPage forest preserves on Giving Tuesday, Nov. 29, through the Friends of the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County 501 (c)(3) nonprofit, and the Friends' board of directors will match total donations up to $5,000.

The Friends’ Giving Tuesday match demonstrates the nonprofit’s commitment to support the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County and the agency's mission.
“The Forest Preserve District maintains, restores, and preserves all that we have in the forest preserves today, and it works to protect habitat for years to come,” said Friends board member Karyn Charvat. “Residents are lucky to have extensive trails, lakes and rivers, and open spaces to enjoy in DuPage County.”

Gifts to the Friends made on other days in November and December will be matched by community partner, Navistar, Inc. through the end of the year, up to $20,000. Navistar, Inc. is guided by a vision to accelerate the impact of sustainable mobility and committed to supporting education, equity, and the environment in communities where its employees live and work.
