Wood Ridge Forest Preserve in Wood Ridge is 234 acres of undeveloped natural area with glacier-formed ridges, ravines and potholes.
The preserve contains an oak woodland and savanna, wetlands, prairies and meadows. Rich and diverse, it is home to several rare plant species.
Wood Ridge is south of Davey Road, west of Lemont Road, and just north of the DuPage County/Cook County boundary. It does not have a parking lot.

The preserve is open daily from one hour after sunrise until one hour after sunset. Dogs must be on leashes under 10 feet long, and alcohol is prohibited. Read our Rules & Regulations.
